CASE-Client Relationship

The process we typically use as we work with our clients is as follows:

1. Preliminary Analysis

We discuss (usually by phone) the current concerns regarding odors, mold, bacteria, viruses, and VOCs. During this discussion, we confirm the square footage, the number of air handlers, and other general information about the existing air equipment in your facility. We use the CASE System Design Data Sheet to obtain this data, and from it, we provide a preliminary estimate for installation of an AirScrub System. A dollar range is provided so you, as the customer, have a “ballpark” figure to determine your interest in having CASE develop a full proposal.

2. Site Assessment

A CASE representative normally visits your site to further evaluate the property. Among other things, an assessment will be made of the following:

  • Condition of air handling equipment
  • Access to air handling equipment
  • Facility layout
  • Airflow
  • Air quality problems
  • Common areas
  • Resident rooms
  • Occupancy/turnover rates
  • Current costs for odor and/or virus control

During the site visit, you will be asked to provide a floor plan of the facility.

3. System Design

Using the data collected in #1 and #2 above, our engineering staff will design an AirScrub System specifically for your facility. Since the equipment components work in tandem to efficiently scrub the air and surfaces, we will specify equipment size and locations to achieve maximum results.

4. Proposal

A detailed proposal, including costs, will be prepared for your review and approval.

5. Installation

We prefer to work with your own HVAC/engineering staff for installation of the equipment in the HVAC ducts. The CASE representative installs the other type (non-duct) AirScrub equipment with assistance from your maintenance staff. Installation time is typically one to three days, depending upon the size of your facility and the accessibility of the air handling equipment. After completion of installation, we provide a drawing showing location of all system components.

6. Training

At the conclusion of the installation, the CASE representative will train appropriate staff members at your facility (usually Executive Director, key managers and maintenance staff). Training includes information on the operation and expectations of the system, as well as the GMP’s (good management practices) required to achieve maximum results.

7. Follow Up

CASE representatives are always available by telephone or e-mail to answer questions about your AirScrub System. Within the first thirty days after installation, the CASE representative will make at least two contacts with you to ensure complete satisfaction and respond to any questions that might arise.

Modular Installation:

The AirScrub System can be installed in phases. In other words, you may choose to install a system in one wing of your facility now, and then periodically add another until your entire facility is protected by AirScrub.
